Here's our story...
Our daughter Emily broke her leg while playing outside when she was seven
years old. Her break was bad enough that we needed to stay in the Children's
Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for a few days. Emily was in a lot of pain, and
we were all scared and anxious. After we were admitted and in our room, the
nurse brought us a few things that had been donated to the hospital. One of
the things Emily was given was a beautiful handmade fleece blanket. Emily's
face brightened, her spirits lifted and she held on tight to that blanket during
her stay in the hospital and recovery at home. We appreciated so much that
people had made such thoughtful gifts for the kids in the hospital that we
decided to make our own blankets to give. We hope our blankets cheers you
up, brings you comfort and keeps you warm!
